"El Capitan was at anchored just off the coast  when a strange creature that looked to be half pink bird  and half greenish blueish fish landed on the deck. It walked around surveying the crew and rations, then grabbed a bottle of rum, let out a laughing call and flew off leaving only a perfect pink feather. The rest of our trip down and around the tip of Florida was met with perfect weather."  - Direct quote from recovered logbook of El Capitan

"During the transport of cargo towards the straights of Florida, while sitting idle with no wind, a large pink, green and blue bird fish visited our ship. He landed on our back rail, tilted his head back and let out a loud laughing call. With that the wind suddenly picked up and we were back under sail. The creature then flew around ship, dive bombed the crew and grabbed a hat from Dirt Dog Daniel and flew off but not before a pink feather landed on the deck."  -Direct quote from recovered logbook from Narwhal
